The MBA by distance learning programme:
- lasts approximately 30 months
- is developed with the practicing manager in mind
- allows the individual to study at a time, place and pace which suits him best
- is academically challenging but also provides immediate applicability in the participant's workplace
- is modular with each subject being studied separately
The objectives of the programme are:
- to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the industry and associated organisations
- to encourage individuals to use their skills more effectively in areas such as strategy, human resource management, and marketing
- to apply current management techniquess
- to develop responses to cope with market turbulence
- to analyse problems and develop solutions on an industry-wide basis
Entry Qualifications:
- An HONOURS DEGREE or its equivalent from an institution recognised by the University of Stirling.
- At least 2 to 3 years relevant working experience.
- Those without formal higher education qualifications will also be considered if they have significant and RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE and can satisfy the University that he or she has the ability to undertake postgraduate study.
- There is no age limit on application.
