SCHOLARSHIP

The MBA in Retailing by Distance Learning is the designated course of study of the National Retail Scholarship (Master's).

Launched in May 2007, the National Retail Scholarships Programme is a joint initiative by the Singapore Retailers Association (SRA), the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), and the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore), to professionalise Singapore’s retail workforce, raise retail standards and maximize opportunities for Singaporeans. To cater to the entire spectrum of retail professionals, the National Retail Scholarships are offered at three levels: (1) Diploma in Retail Management, (2) Degree in specialized fields, and (3) MBA in Retailing.

The Scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

The National Retail Scholarships (Master’s) are offered to middle managers who strive for more senior positions, have shown a soundness of character and the potential to lead, and who possess an unwavering dedication to impact the retail industry. Up to 4 Master’s scholarships will be offered annually.

More information on the Scholarship is available from the Singapore Retailers Association,
