EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME > VISUAL MERCHANDISING
This is one of the most popular of the Academy’s courses. Since it was introduced in 2004, over 730 retail executives and visual merchandisers from some 200 companies have attended the course.
The course aims to assist retail managers, operations managers, buyers and retail executives to better understand the secrets of how visual merchandising is being used by global players to enhance its brand image, improve merchandising skills and improve sales.
These secrets will be revealed, taught and demonstrated through the use of highly effective training tools and techniques. Participants will better understand how to differentiate themselves from the competition through visual merchandising and increase their market share. They will also learn how to structure and create the visual merchandising function based on the latest models being used by some of the world’s most successful retailers.
In collaboration with The Association of Shopping Centres (Singapore), TASC, the course was customised for shopping centre managers and executives to better understand visual merchandising and store design principles and their applications to retail stores and shopping centres. The course has been offered in 2007 and 2010 and conducted for some 100 participants.

This course is for department managers, operations managers, buyers, store planners, marketing executives, retail executives, display executives and practitioners of soft lines and hard lines businesses
This 2-day course is conducted in an interactive workshop style using discussions, case studies and role-plays.
The course includes an assessment that is work-based. Participants are given 3 weeks to complete the assignment. The assessment is compulsory.
